90-Day Reporting in Thailand
If you stay in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days, you must report your current address to immigration. This is not a visa extension, it’s a separate legal requirement.
If you’ve recently changed address, ensure your TM.30 is up to date.

How to report
In person
Visit your local immigration office with your documents. This is the most reliable method. Processing is done same-day, but it is advisable to arrive early to beat the queues.
Online
Use the official immigration website. You must have completed at least one in-person report before you can use the online system. The system can be unreliable - submit early in case it fails.
Official 90-Day Reporting PortalBy mail
Notification by registered mail:
- Photocopy of passport: Front bio page (name/surname/passport number), current visa, last entry stamp, and latest extension stamp.
- TDAC arrival record details.
- Previous notification of staying over 90 days (if applicable).
- Complete Form TM.47 and sign it.
- Include an envelope with a 10-baht stamp and your return address so immigration can send back the lower part of TM.47 for your records and next notification.
- Send all documents by registered mail, keep the registration receipt, and mail at least 15 days before your due date to the immigration checkpoint responsible for your local area.
Through an agent
A licensed visa agent can submit on your behalf. This is the most convenient option but comes with a fee.
