Thai Immigration App (THIM)
THIM is the new official digital immigration platform provided by the Thailand Immigration Bureau. It streamlines the arrival process for international travellers by allowing them to submit the required immigration information before arriving in Thailand.
What is the THIM app used For?
Digital arrival card
Submit arrival-card information before landing, instead of relying on paper forms at the airport.
Group travellers
Add multiple travellers under one trip, useful for families or people travelling together.
Trip management
View upcoming trips, update trip details, and keep travel information in one place.
Notifications
Receive arrival-related reminders and updates through the app.
How It Fits With TDAC
TDAC is Thailand's digital arrival card requirement for non-Thai arrivals. The Immigration Bureau describes TDAC (Arrival Card) as one of the app's functions, and a way to complete required arrival information before landing.
If you use THIM, still keep a copy of your submitted arrival information and check that your details match your passport and travel booking. For a broader overview, see our TDAC guide.
THIM does not grant visa exemption, issue a visa, extend your stay, approve work, or replace the passport stamp you receive from an immigration officer. It is a digital channel for arrival and related traveller information.
